Amelie Gagnon, Senior Programme Specialist at the IIEP-UNESCO is an expert on education indicators, and results-based management. Amelie was the coordinator of the hackathon, called Hacking Edplanning.
Together with David Mugisha, a data consultant and volunteer coach in the hackathon, we are analysing their experience of bringing two very different groups of people – educational planners, and engineers – to come up with solutions to development problems in a digital 48-hour event.
